Grand Lodge of Colorado

M.W.Bro. Charles G. Johnson, G.M.
Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Colorado
What an Honor . . .
. . . it is to serve the Grand Lodge of Colorado as your Grand Master. The 2010 Masonic year has ended for the 131
Constituent Lodges in Colorado and elections have placed new leadership at the helm. Most have been installed
and are beginning the exciting journey that the 'MasterŐs Chair' provides.
I have often remarked in my many visits to Lodges that leadership is not always found in the Officers positions. The officers
are certainly the backbone of every Lodge but much leadership can come from the ranks and often the success of a Lodge depends
on this element. The successful Lodges find a way to incorporate this leadership style to allow for projects and activities to f
lourish with little regard for recognition of who actually completed the mission. Be sure to develop and
encourage the 'sideline leaders' in your Lodge and you will definitely profit from this effort.
As this Grand Lodge Masonic year comes to a close, the officers and I all have enjoyed the hospitality and fellowship offered
by the Brethren on our visits. We have truly been blessed with this honor to serve you and have benefitted greatly from the
experience. Hopefully, we have offered some encouragement to your Brethren and have helped promote the Craft in your community. I am
extremely proud of our Grand Lodge officer team and feel that they are committed to the service of Colorado Masons. Please feel free to
contact any of them for advice, assistance with Lodge events, or questions of policy. We have many goals both for the Grand Lodge
and individually but we all work together to deliver the message of Masonry to our Brethren.
Keep workin' on your goals, keep promotin' this great Fraternity of ours, and always. . .
Keep Smilin',
Charlie Johnson
